“Russian Government Report 2021: Proposals for Social Support, Transport, and Education”

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the instructions following the annual government report to the State Duma, which was held on March 23. This was reported press office government.

The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Economy should prepare proposals for amendments that will give local governments the right to develop and implement measures of social support and assistance to the families of military personnel who participate in hostilities in Ukraine. The order must be completed by May 17.

The Ministry of Transport, together with federal and regional authorities, must analyze public transport routes in villages and submit proposals for their development by September 1. The departments must also inform the government regarding support measures for opening bus routes in villages by October 1.

The Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade should submit proposals for measures that will increase the attractiveness of educational programs in engineering and technical specialties in universities and will increase the target figures for admission to state-funded education at them. The order must be completed by June 1.

The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Education and federal and regional authorities need to submit proposals to increase budget places for the most popular medical specialties in colleges and universities. Agencies should also develop measures that will ensure that customers of targeted training fulfill their obligations to employ medical university graduates and fulfill the terms of contracts by targeted graduates. The order must be completed by October 1.
