[モスクワ 13日 ロイター] – The Russian government recognizes the dependence on foreign technology and the serious shortage of workers as major problems in the domestic electronics industry, the Russian newspaper Kommersant reported, citing documents from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The document also points out that Russia’s technology level is 10 to 15 years behind the world’s standards and that the domestic production cost of parts is high.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed to expand production capacity and promote research to support development. It aims to create an electronics industry from almost scratch by 2030, designing electronic devices without adopting foreign architectures.
