(CNN) During a meeting in New Delhi, the capital of India, where Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov was visiting, he recently set up a false narrative regarding Russia’s aggression once morest Ukraine, causing laughter from the audience.

The foreign minister’s visit is to accompany foreign ministers’ meetings of 20 major countries and regions (G20). Speaking to a group of top diplomats at the G20 summit, Lavrov made his own claim that the invasion was in fact directed once morest Russia.
