People’s Artist of the RSFSR and Dynamo Moscow fan Lev Leshchenko shared his opinion on the upcoming transfer of Blue and White midfielder Daniil Lesovoy to the Israeli Maccabi.

Earlier it was reported that the Haifa club agreed to transfer the 25-year-old Russian for one million euros.
“I always welcome such options. He will get stronger there and will play at a different level. Our football is domestic, but Maccabi still plays on the international stage, so a person will grow. I believe that if there are growth prospects, then he should use them,” Leshchenko said in interview with Sport Express.
Maccabi Haifa has won the last three Israeli championships. In the fall, the club played in the group stage of the Europa League, and in the spring it will continue to play in the playoffs of the Conference League. His opponent in the 1/16 finals will be the Belgian Gent.
Lesovoy has been playing for Dynamo since September 2020. He played 72 matches for the Moscow club, in which he scored five goals and made 11 assists.
Lesovoy’s former Dynamo teammate Grigory Morozov, who now defends the colors of Jerusalem’s Beitar, is playing in Israel. Last year, Russians Magomed-Shapi Suleymanov (Hapoel Be’er Sheva), German Onugha (Bnei Sakhnin) and Sergei Borodin (Beitar) also played in the Israeli league.
