Russian Defense Ministry announces targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities with intensive strike

This came in the daily report of the Russian Defense Ministry, which explained that the strike was carried out with high-precision, long-range weapons launched from the air, sea, and drones, stressing that all the attack targets were hit.

According to Russian Defense Ministry data, the total losses of the Ukrainian army over the past day amounted to about 1,930 soldiers.

The following are the most important points included in the Russian Defense Report:

  • Units of the Northern Group of Forces on the Volchansk and Lipetsk axes targeted enemy formations in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, where the enemy lost about 90 soldiers.
  • Units of the “West” group of forces improved their tactical situation and struck enemy forces and equipment in Kharkiv, Lugansk and Donetsk, repelled 4 counterattacks, while Ukrainian losses amounted to about 480 servicemen.
  • Units of the “South” (Donetsk) group of forces took control of more favorable positions and inflicted losses on the enemy amounting to 570 servicemen.
  • Units of the “Centre” group of forces continued to advance deep into the enemy’s defenses and in Donetsk, and repelled 7 counterattacks. Ukrainian losses amounted to about 585 soldiers.
  • Units of the “East” group of forces (also Donetsk) improved their tactical situation and repelled two counterattacks, while the enemy lost about 135 soldiers.
  • Units of the Dnepr group of forces targeted enemy formations in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions and the city of Kherson. The losses of the Ukrainian forces amounted to about 70 servicemen.
  • Two workshops for the production of Ukrainian drones were hit, in addition to gatherings of enemy troops and military equipment in 143 regions.
  • Dropping a French-made Hammer guided bomb, 4 American-made HIMARS missiles, and 58 drones.
