Moscow. the 25th of October. INTERFAX.RU – Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Ukrainian army has fewer and fewer capabilities and drew attention to the large losses of Ukrainian aviation.

“Today’s life, today’s situation suggests that the enemy has fewer and fewer opportunities,” the minister said in a conversation with servicemen of the Vostok group who were awarded state awards.

“Sergei Shoigu noted that in the last three to four weeks, many captured Ukrainian military personnel have been captured and voluntarily surrendered, and they talk regarding the poor psychological state in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

“We have complexes that shot down twenty-four planes in five days,” the Russian Ministry of Defense quotes Shoigu as saying.

They reported that, on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Shoigu presented the Gold Star medals of the Hero of Russia to the commander of the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, Mikhail Gudkov, and the commander of the separate 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet, Oleg Vlasov.

These awards were presented for courage, heroism and skillful command of subordinate formations demonstrated during the successful repulsion of the enemy offensive, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted in a statement.

Earlier on Wednesday, the defense department reported that Shoigu inspected the forward command post of the Vostok group in the zone of a special military operation in Ukraine. The minister heard reports on the current situation and the group’s readiness to operate in the winter.
