The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces had destroyed, with high-precision missiles, a “combination and training center for foreign mercenaries” near the Ukrainian city of Odessa.
“With high-precision missiles fired with the Bastion coastal defense system, a center for the assembly and training of foreign mercenaries was destroyed in the vicinity of the town of Krasnoselka, northeast of Odessa,” the ministry’s spokesman, Igor Konashenkov, said in a press briefing held on Friday.
The spokesman added that the Russian forces destroyed at the Pokrovsk, Slaviansk and Parvenkovo ​​railway stations weapons and military equipment belonging to the Ukrainian reserve forces, which arrived in the Donbass region, using high-precision missiles launched from the air.
Konashenkov indicated that the Russian air defenses had shot down two Ukrainian military helicopters, Mi-8 and Mi-24, in the vicinity of the town of Staraya Zbruevka, in addition to shooting down five drones, two of which were “Bayraktar TB-2” in the vicinity of the city. Krivoy Rog.
A spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry revealed that the Russian Air Force and missile forces had launched strikes on 81 military targets in Ukraine, including two command centers, an Osa missile system, three launchers and nine strongholds, in addition to 59 gatherings of Ukrainian army combat vehicles.
Since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Russian forces have destroyed 97 helicopters, 421 drones, 228 medium and long-range missile air defense systems, 2019, tanks and armored vehicles, 223 rocket launchers, 874 artillery and mortars, in addition to 1,917 special military vehicles, according to Konashenkov.
