A court has sentenced American basketball player Brittney Greiner to nine years in prison for bringing cannabis oil into Russia.
Greiner, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, was arrested on Feb. 17 following three bottles of cannabis oil were found in her bag while on her way to Russia to play professionally with UMC Yekathe. Lindbergh which she admitted to such guilt But it was an unintentional offense.

Until recently, on August 4, a Russian court declared Greiner guilty of smuggling drugs into the country. and will serve a nine-year prison term in a women’s penitentiary.
