Russian Forces Intensify Assault on Pokrovsk, Targeting Key Villages
Russian occupation forces are escalating their offensive in the Donetsk region, focusing on capturing the strategic city of Pokrovsk.
The latest reports indicate that Russian troops are relentlessly advancing on the village of Shevchenko, located near Pokrovsk. “The accumulation of enemy infantry in this area continues. They are trying to completely occupy this village, which was a tactical task in their advance to Pokrovsk. Concurrently, Russian forces are pressing towards Novotroitskoye, a town in close proximity to Pokrovsk. They approached the town from the east, positioning themselves for potentially capturing it.

“Most likely, they, as in other sectors, will try to take fire control of the logistics routes to Pokrovsk at a minimum, thus trying to take control of the city. Recently, the enemy published footage of an FPV drone hitting a train in the Kotlino area, requiring attention because this is a repetition of situations from other cities, and it’s easy to simply prohibit movement on a road," the report added, highlighting the potential use for tactical drone warfare and transportation disruption in ongoing offensive operations.
