The Russian military has used electronic warfare jamming systems to jam GPS signals used by Ukrainian forces since the 2014 invasion of Crimea.
It has also been interfering since before the February 24th invasion of this year.
The downside of GPS-guided weapons is that they stop functioning when the GPS signals sent by global positioning satellites (positioning satellites) are jammed.
According to the US Space Force, “Russian forces have not conducted attacks on geodetic satellites, but they have attacked GPS signals within Ukraine.”
The Russian military does not want the Ukrainian military to use GPS signals.
While there are reports of civilian drones being downed by electronic warfare attacks, there are few reports of military GPS-guided weapons being shot down.

「New King of Battle」
Field Artillery has been called the “King of Battle”.
Artillery can attack and destroy enemy forces from a great distance. On the battlefield, you can turn the tide of battle by firing more bullets with more artillery.
At first, the Russian army fired a large number of artillery shells on each front to overwhelm the Ukrainian army and stop the counterattack.
However, the U.S. military provided HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System), and many of the Russian artillery and ammunition depots were damaged by these shots.
Since these were destroyed, the Ukrainian military has launched a counteroffensive and is retaking territory.
HIMARS and other missiles provided by Europe and the United States have a long range and can hit targets accurately.
Its power has increased dramatically because it hits the target while flying regarding twice as far as conventional cannons.

Also, since the cannonballs fly fast and the bullets themselves are small, they cannot be shot down by air defense weapons.
