Jan Dykema, who left the post of head of the ISU, became the honorary president. Dykema presented Lakernik with a medal of honor.

“The work of the congress was successful, we made a number of historic decisions. I have no doubt that the organization has a great future with the new crew, that Mr. Kim (new president – Sports.ru) will make every effort to work for the benefit of ISU, I wish him successful work.

I am finishing my term as President of ISU, of course my heart is aching, but I am grateful for the opportunity to work all these years for the good of ISU. The organization went through a difficult period, I am glad that we managed to overcome it,” said Dykema.
