Russian Air Defense Repels Four Ukrainian Drone Attacks near Kursk – Official Information and Foiled Terrorist Attacks Revealed

According to official information, Russian air defense repelled a total of four Ukrainian drone attacks over the Kursk region near the Ukrainian border late on Monday evening. Two drones were destroyed around 10:30 p.m. local time (9:30 p.m. CEST), two more regarding half an hour later, the Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow announced on Telegram on Tuesday night. The ministry spoke of foiled terrorist attacks.

The regional capital Kursk had already been attacked with drones on Sunday. One is said to have hit the building of the Russian domestic secret service FSB, and a second an oil refinery, as media in Kiev reported, citing the Ukrainian military intelligence service. The Kursk region officially announced that a drone caused minor damage to the roof of an administrative building.

Moscow has repeatedly reported Ukrainian drone attacks in recent weeks. However, these are disproportionate to Russia’s mass attacks in its 19-month-long war of aggression once morest its neighboring country.
