Russian Air Defense Intercepts 3 Ukrainian Missiles near Kursk Province

Russia announced on Monday morning that Russian air defense forces were able to intercept 3 Ukrainian missiles targeting Russia’s Kursk province, close to the border with Ukraine.

The governor of the Russian Kursk province, Roman Starovoit, announced that Russian air defenses, according to preliminary information, intercepted 3 Ukrainian missiles over the Vatyzhsky district of the Kursk province, according to what was reported by Russian media.

Starovoit said, on his Telegram channel: “According to preliminary information, air defense systems intercepted 3 Ukrainian missiles over the territory of the Vatyezhsky district.”

On Sunday, Ukrainian drones attacked the village of Tetkino in Kursk Province, wounding one person.

Yesterday, Sunday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 17 “Himars” and “Uragan” missiles had been intercepted and 23 Ukrainian drones had been shot down in various areas during the past 24 hours.

The ministry said, in a statement on Sunday, that Russian forces succeeded in neutralizing regarding 800 Ukrainian soldiers within the scope of the special military operation, during the past 24 hours.

It indicated that among these deaths, regarding 300 fell in the Donetsk axis, 130 in the Kubyansk axis, in addition to 170 in the southern Donetsk axis.

The ministry added that regarding 15 tanks, 12 combat vehicles, and dozens of military vehicles and pieces were destroyed in various fighting axes in eastern and southern Ukraine.
