Russia to mobilize 300,000 additional troops in June

The Ukrainian president, Volodímir Zelenski, He said at a press conference that he can assure that ““Russia is preparing to mobilize an additional 300,000 troops on June 1.”

The Ukrainian president himself, who yesterday ratified a law to reduce the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 years, had said last December that The army commanders had requested the mobilization of 500,000 additional men.

For his part, the Finnish president, Alexander Stubb, who was with Zelensky at the press conference in kyiv, refused to speculate on a scenario in which Finland could send troops to Ukraine.

Stubb, who signed an agreement this Wednesday to provide security guarantees to Ukraine for the next ten years, said that «there is no reason for Finland to send troops to Ukraine«.
