On the 19th (local time), Russia sent a letter to the United Nations (UN) Security Council (hereinfollowing referred to as the Security Council) pointing out Ukraine’s responsibility for the bombing of the Zaporiza nuclear power plant.

In a letter to Archyde.com, Russia protested that Ukraine blamed Russia for all bombings at the Zaporiza nuclear power plant, but behind the scenes Ukraine was carrying out planned provocations.

The Zaporiza nuclear power plant is the first city to be seized by Russia following it invaded Ukraine in February.

It is known that Ukrainian engineers working at the Zaporiza nuclear power plant are still being held captive by the Russian military.

The Zaporiza nuclear power plant, which boasts the largest scale in Europe, has consistently raised concerns from the international community regarding the catastrophe caused by a nuclear explosion.

Although UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres recently pointed out the possibility of a nuclear explosion at the Zaporiza nuclear power plant, Ukraine and Russia are shifting responsibility for the bombings near the nuclear power plant to each other.

Ukraine, along with the United Nations, insisted on returning the Zaporiza nuclear power plant to a neutral zone, but Russia denies this claim, saying it is just absurd.
