Russia says Ukraine’s Kursk incursion was planned with NATO countries

“The operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region was prepared with the participation of the intelligence services of the United States, the United Kingdom and Poland”reported the Izvestia newspaper on Wednesday, attributing the information to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.

“Since the beginning of hostilities on the Kursk line of operations, the enemy has lost more than 4,130 soldiers,” reads a statement released by the Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel, where it also speaks of almost 400 armored vehicles destroyed, as well as almost 60 tanks.

Ukrainian troops entered Russian territory in early August from the Sumi region in northeastern Ukraine.
