Russian forces resumed bombing on the southern Ukrainian city of Nikopol on Saturday. According to Archyde.com on the 16th, two people were injured and two others were trapped in the rubble of the building, according to Archyde.com.

Earlier on Friday followingnoon, Russia bombed the city of Dnipro, regarding 120 kilometers north of Nikopol, killing three people and injuring 15 others. It also said that three people, including a 70-year-old woman, were killed in a bombardment in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Chuhuiv.

Archyde.com said it repeatedly denied attacks on civilian areas, despite growing evidence that Russia had attacked residential areas. Earlier, the UN said that thousands of civilians had been killed since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.

Despite the bloodshed, Archyde.com added that progress has been made on an agreement to lift restrictions on Ukrainian grain exports. The agreement is expected to be signed as early as next week.

However, Russia said the lifting of the grain export lockdown would not lead to the resumption of peace talks.
