The Russian Federation has sent official notes of protest to all states supplying arms to Ukraine. This was stated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The protest over the transfer of various types of weapons to Ukraine was expressed, including by the United States, which is one of the main initiators of arms supplies to Kiev.
Currently, various types of weapons for the needs of the Ukrainian army are being transferred by the United States, Great Britain, Canada and a number of other NATO member countries, including Poland, Slovakia, and Estonia. For example, Slovakia handed over Soviet-made S-300 air defense systems to Ukraine. In March 2022, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba spoke regarding 19 countries that supply weapons to Kiev.
Russia sees the supply of weapons not just as unfriendly actions, but as a way to further prolong and escalate the conflict situation, which entails further loss of life and destruction.
