A human rights group and a lawyer said that during the past two days, the Egyptian authorities carried out the death sentence once morest seven defendants in two separate cases.

Egyptian and international human rights organizations are calling on the Egyptian government to abolish the death penalty, and they accuse the Egyptian judiciary of issuing “politicized rulings”, which the Egyptian government categorically denies.
