Russia.. Emirati superiority and excellent organization in the Moscow Jiu-Jitsu Tour for the Masters category

More than 1,100 players from different countries around the world participated in the Moscow tour, making it one of the most important tours of this season, which started in Istanbul last June, followed by a tour in Rio de Janeiro in July.

The competitions were distinguished by the crowning of champions with purple, brown and black belts, which enhances the championship’s position as one of the prominent rounds in the 2024-2025 season. The final results confirmed the remarkable Emirati superiority, as the UAE champions won advanced positions in the competitions.

At the end of the Masters category competitions, the Emirati players won 8 colored medals. The Russian “Strela Team” Academy succeeded in achieving first place, while the Emirati “MOD UAE” Academy came in second place, and the American “Checkmate” Academy came in third place.

Ibrahim Al Hammadi from MOD UAE Academy won the gold medal in the 94 kg weight category in the brown belt category, while his colleagues from the same academy, Ali Al Balushi, the purple belt holder, won the silver medal in the 69 kg weight category, Abdullah Al Balushi, the brown belt holder, won the silver medal in the 69 kg weight category, Abdullah Al Marzouqi won the silver medal in the 77 kg weight category, and Hassan Sabil won the silver medal in the 94 kg weight category. The bronze medals were won by Haitham Al Hanawi in the 62 kg weight category and Musab Abdullah in the 94 kg weight category. From Bani Yas Club, Adel Al Balushi won the silver medal in the 77 kg weight category for the black belt, and Thiago Marquez from Commando Group won the gold medal in the 77 kg weight category, along with his colleagues from the same academy, Matheus Javier, who won the gold medal in the 94 kg weight category, and Felipe Bezerra won the gold medal in the under 120 kg weight category.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Championship is one of the most prominent sporting events organized by the capital of Jiu-Jitsu, Abu Dhabi, around the world. About Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Championship

The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Championship is one of the most prominent international Jiu-Jitsu championships. Its first season was launched in 2015-2016 with the aim of spreading and supporting this sport worldwide. Since then, 43 rounds have been held in 12 cities around the world, including Tokyo, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, and London, establishing a global sports movement that aims to promote the professionalism of Jiu-Jitsu and establish Abu Dhabi as the capital of this sport.

More than 40,000 players have participated in the tournament since its launch, and it has provided cash prizes worth more than $9 million.
