Russia deports 85 diplomats from France, Italy and Spain | Reuters

[London, 18th Archyde.com]–Russia announced on the 18th that it will deport a total of 85 diplomats from France, Spain and Italy. Countermeasures once morest the deportation of Russian diplomats by these three countries.

According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 34 diplomats and embassy staff will be expelled from France, 27 from Spain and 24 from Italy.

Italy’s Prime Minister Mario Draghi criticized Russia’s measures as “hostile action” and emphasized that diplomatic routes should not be disrupted. France and Spain have also criticized the two countries for their unjustified response to the well-founded deportation of Russian diplomats.

Since February 24, when Russia began its invasion of Ukraine, more than 300 Russian diplomats have been expelled from European countries, including these three countries. Russia has also deported diplomats from Western countries and is in a retaliatory battle.
