Massive threats
Prosecutors personally threatened the companies with arresting those responsible for speaking critical of the Russian government or with confiscating assets, including property rights. The companies concerned – Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble and the KFC parent Yum Brands – did not initially respond to AFP’s request.
