Russia reserves the right to independently investigate sabotage at Nord Stream. This was stated by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya, noting that Denmark, Germany and Sweden do not provide data on the investigation.

“There is a growing misunderstanding in the UN Security Council due to the fact that Denmark, Germany and Sweden do not provide data on the investigation into the Nord Stream explosions. Russia will raise the topic of undermining Nord Stream in the UN Security Council until the perpetrators are held accountable,” Nebenzya said at a meeting of the UN Security Council, RIA Novosti reports.

Explosions at Nord Stream occurred on September 26, 2022. First Deputy Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky criticized the progress of the investigation of the state of emergency. He said that countries investigating the causes of the emergency at Nord Stream should report the investigation to the UN Security Council. Later, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger declaredthat Ukraine is behind the state of emergency.
