Russia resumed missile strikes on the Ukrainian capital, Kiiu, after 54 days.

It is alleged that the missile attack was carried out on Belarusian territory.

In particular, this attack was carried out amid evaluations that the Ukrainian Army’s Southern Kherson restoration operation was successful, heralding fierce fighting on the southern front.

The sky is covered with black smoke and this is Visygorod, 20 km from the city center of Kiiu, the capital of Ukraine.

Ukrainian officials say Russian missiles fired from Belarusian territory hit Kiiu, Zitomir and Chernivu.

It is the first time Russia has attacked Kiiu in 54 days since the 5th of last month.

After failing to capture Kiiu in the early stages of the invasion, Russia concentrated on the southeastern front, but attacked Kiiu at every major phase of the war.

The missile was launched shortly after the UN secretary-general’s visit in April and shortly after Putin publicly warned in June of support for long-range weapons from the West.

The attack came after it was evaluated that Ukraine had gained momentum in its restoration operation by cutting off a key supply route for the Russian army in southern Kherson, which was lost in the early stages of the invasion.

“Currently there is serious damage to the bridge and its structure. I think the enemy will try to repair it once again. We are ready for this and we will prepare for the next step.”

The British Defense Ministry said the shutdown of Kherson put thousands of Russian troops at risk, and that the loss of Kherson would be a devastating blow to Russia’s occupation operations.

“Russian troops are relocating massively from the east to the south,” a Ukrainian presidential office official said.

Meanwhile, Russian attacks continued in cities far from the Southeast Front.

A missile fell on the hangar of the National Aviation University Flight School in the central city of Kropiunitzki, killing 30 people.
