Russia announces the restoration of air links with Morocco

“As of Saturday, April 9, all restrictions on scheduled and low-cost flights between Russia and 52 countries will be lifted,” Russian aviation regulator Rossaviatsia said in a statement.

According to Rossaviatsia, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Michoustin indicated that the Arab countries concerned by this lifting of restrictions are Morocco, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Algeria.

And to explain that “the incidence rate is falling, which means that it is time to expand the destinations available to Russian airlines”.

This decision, which comes before the high tourist season, also concerns Turkey, Uruguay, North Korea, India, China and Argentina, among others, according to the same source.
