According to the news released by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the satellite was launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Arkhangelsk, Russia by the Russian Aerospace Forces astronauts, carrying “Angara-1.2” The light launch vehicle was launched at 22:56 Moscow time on the 29th (3:56 a.m. Beijing time on the 30th). The serial number of the satellite is “Universe-2555”, and the satellite is currently operating normally.
According to reports, this is the second launch of the “Angara-1.2” light rocket. The first launch was on July 9, 2014, and the rocket can deliver up to 3 tons of payload into low-Earth orbit.
