This is reported by URA-Inform, referring to the Telegram channel of the head of the OPU Andriy Yermak.

Yermak said Ukraine has brought 100 people home thanks to a new prisoner exchange. The return home took place today, April 10. Those released included the defenders of Gostoml, Mariupol and Azovstal. The youngest on the exchange is only 19 years old.

It is noted that 80 of those released are men, and the remaining 20 are women. Will received nine officers, the remaining 91 – sergeants and privates.

Unfortunately, almost half of the returned defenders are seriously injured. Some confessed that they were tortured in captivity, others fell ill in adverse conditions.

Yermak added that the negotiations were difficult, but he was very pleased with the success. The head of the OPU thanked his colleagues for their hard work.

Russia on the exchange achieved the release of 106 Russians.

Recall that Ukraine is in a very dangerous situation: Zhdanov told what new fights might lead to.
