Russia announced on the 28th that it had attacked the Ukrainian capital Kiiu with a missile.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres publicly admitted to the attack an hour after a press conference with Ukrainian President during a visit to Kiiu.

“The Russian Aerospace Force’s high-precision, long-range missile destroyed the production facility of Artiom, a rocket and space company in Kiiu.”

Artiom is known as a missile producer, and Russia said it also destroyed three regional power supply facilities and 10 military installations.

In the attack, one journalist belonging to a local radio station was killed and 10 others were injured.

Ukraine claims that Russia carried out the attack to insult the United Nations.

“The attack, which took place while the UN Secretary-General was in Kiiwu, was a ‘middle finger’ greeting by President Putin (to Guterres) as he destroyed our house.”

Guterres also said at the time that the Russian missile attack was “shocked to hear that two rockets exploded in my city.”

In the midst of this, the UK has decided to send war criminal experts, including experts on sexual violence in conflict zones, to support Ukraine in relation to the collection and prosecution of war crime evidence.

Ukraine is said to be investigating about 7,600 suspected war crimes and at least 500 suspects since the invasion of Russia.
