Rushed along the A22 at 247 km/h: the first driver had to give up his car in Lower Austria

The man will be reported to the district administration. Since March 1st, if speeding is blatantly exceeded, speeders’ vehicles can be confiscated on the spot and subsequently auctioned off. The basis is the 34th amendment to the Road Traffic Act (StVO). There have also been temporary confiscations in other federal states.
