Rural road maintenance improves the quality of life of more than 1,000 residents of Itapúa

Asuncion, IP Agency.- Teams from District No. 7 of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications carried out several interventions on more than 29 kilometers of unpaved sections, benefiting a total of 1,070 families in Itapúa.

These improvements in road infrastructure not only physically connect communities, but also open up new opportunities for social and economic development in the region.

In the Edelira section, important work was carried out; and in the Yatytay km 22 – San Roque section, a platform profiling was carried out, which covered 3 kilometers benefiting 120 families.

Likewise, on the Pirapó – Capitán Meza – Edelira – Natalio sections of the PY07 route, 4 kilometers of shoulders were restored and vegetation was cut on 6 kilometers, improving conditions for 240 families.

Trinidad was also the protagonist of important improvements. In the Primavera neighborhood, the cleaning and shaping of gutters was carried out, as well as the hauling of common soil, benefiting 120 families.

In Hohenau and Trinidad, the platform was profiled in different sections, covering a total of 10 kilometers, benefiting 160 families. In addition, vegetation was cut by machine on the Jesús de Tavarangue route, covering 6 kilometers, benefiting 40 families.

Likewise, in Carlos Antonio López, Section 3 restored the platform in the San Roque neighborhood, benefiting 150 families, the Ministry of Public Works reported.
