Rural families offer products from the countryside in San Pedro and at the Multiplaza

Asuncion, IP Agency.- Small producers from Central and San Pedro sell agricultural products without intermediaries at the Family Farming Fairs taking place this Wednesday in the central hall, Tower B, ground floor of the Multiplaza Shopping Mall and in front of the office of the Agricultural Extension Directorate, in the department of San Pedro, while supplies last.

The activity is promoted by the Government, through technical departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, in order to positively promote the development and dynamism of the productivity of rural families.

The Family Farming Fair at the Multiplaza benefits 30 families from the Central department; while the DEAG is attended by producers grouped in the Association of Fairgoers assisted by the Agricultural Extension Directorate ALAT San Pedro.

Buyers will be able to access quality fresh products such as: Paraguay cheese, G. 32,000 per kilo; pork, home-made chicken, home-made eggs, corn, corn flour, red beans, honey, peanuts, peky butter beans, peky beans and starch.

Also tomatoes at G. 10,000 per kilo, bell peppers, G. 8,000 per kilo; cassava, G. 2,000 per kilo; sweet potatoes, G. 3,000 per kilo, green vegetables in general at G. 1,500 per bunch, seasonal fruits, grains in general, crafts, flowers and plants, among others.
