After a successful first season in 2022, Rupture, from Apple TV+, finally returned to recording the episodes of its second season. This comes following months of actors and writers’ strike last year, including other behind-the-scenes problems that affected production.
There are rumors that creative differences between showrunners and creators Dan Erickson and Mark Friedman they would have disrupted the work environment and interrupted the recordings. The fights started in the first season of the series, but became more intense in the sequel.
The announcement was made by director Ben Stiller, with a behind-the-scenes photo of Apple TV in which actor Adam Scott, who plays the protagonist Mark, appears running.
“Back to work,” says the post’s caption.
The series follows employees of the mysterious company Lumon. To cope with the boring work, they undergo a process that separates their consciousness when they are at work and when they are at home. In the second season, names like Gwendoline Christie (Wandinha), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development) and Merritt Wever (Unbelievable) will join the cast of characters.
The first season is complete on Apple TV+.
