Around 540,000 Montenegrins are called on this Sunday to decide on the new president of the small Balkan country in a runoff election. Pro-Western incumbent Milo Djukanovic got the most votes in the first round two weeks ago. However, his challenger Jakov Milatovic is supported by the entire pro-Serbian camp, which had several candidates in the first round. For this reason, he is given the better chances.
Polling stations open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Results are expected later in the evening. The former Yugoslav republic became independent in 2006.
