Rumors of orders: 787 and A321neo also for ANA?

The airline company All Nippon Airways (ANA) would consider an order of Boeing 787 Dreamliner additional for its own fleet, would buy up to 50 Airbus A321neo for its future subsidiary Air Japan.

Like its rival Japan Airlines, the private Japanese company is the subject of rumors on the eve of the Paris Air Show. But it is on the single-aisle side that the airline Star Alliance might make an announcement in the coming weeks: the rumor speaks of up to fifty A321neowhich would be intended for its future low-cost subsidiary Air Japan (whose image, all-Economy 787-8 layout and uniforms were unveiled in the spring), with a launch now scheduled for February 2024. develop tourist routes to Southeast Asia.

The airline already operates 22 of the 26 A321neo expected, configured as 8+186. Its order book includes in addition to the 787 twenty Boeing 737 MAX 8 deliverable from 2025, and 18 777-9. Its subsidiaries low cost Peach operates on its side among others eight of the 33 A320neo ordered, and already waiting for three A321LR.
