We bring a curious rumor related to one of the most beloved franchises by fans of Nintendo. It is actually regarding Super Mario.
As we have learned, the popular leaker Zippo has set off all the alarms recently. This hints that a new 2D Mario game is on the way.
This is confirmed:
- Zippo claims Nintendo is working on a new 2D Super Mario game
- This would be released in fiscal year 2023-2024
- He thus reiterates his statement shared in August 2022, where he mentioned that this game would have a new art style that may “surprise” people.
- He claimed that it contains online multiplayer and is not part of the “New” series of the franchise.
- Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad would be the playable characters
