Rumors about a PC port of Bloodborne have been discussed online for years. Fans even launched a mass action on social networks, demanding the revival of the game.

Last year, well-known dataminer Lance McDonald stated that There are no technical restrictions for releasing a Bloodborne remaster on PlayStation 5 and PC, and Sony can do so at any time without FromSoftware support. In response to this, insider Jeff Grubb suggested that the publisher would not just give the game to the first studio they came across because of the complex code.

At the same time, McDonald believed that Sony could have all the necessary tools for porting a PS4-exclusive, left over from the disbanded Japan Studio that produced the project, on the shelf.. The only question is whether the company is going to one day use them.
