Hogwarts Legacy is expected to arrive on Nintendo Switch in late 2022 if all goes according to plan, but there are still a lot of details we don’t yet know.
A few more things come to light thanks to the efforts of a user named BattleDashBR on Reddit. While digging through the game’s official website, the user managed to discover the following image, which seems to display some information regarding the game’s planned multiple editions and DLC content. According to the image found (see below), Hogwarts Legacy will be released with a Collector’s Edition and a Deluxe Edition, each providing access to unique content. Both will grant access to the following cosmetic items, which will likely be available as paid DLC for Standard Edition owners:
- Monture Thestrale
- Dark Arts Cosmetic Pack
- Dark Arts Battle Arena
- Dark Arts Garrison Hat
- Robe Kelpie
In addition to these in-game items, anyone who purchases the Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition will have access to the game 72 hours before everyone else. In terms of physical rewards, the Collector’s Edition will include a steelbook, a replica wand, and a book. While this information is subject to change and has not yet been officially confirmed by the publisher, it has been found on their official website and therefore seem legit. Hopefully we’ll have confirmation soon, as well as an official release date.
