Rumor: iPhone 14 [Plus] may gain new yellow color

A new rumor shared on the Chinese social network Weibo says that Apple would be planning to launch a new color option for the line iPhone 14 in the coming weeks: the yellow. The information is from the Japanese website Macotakara.

This information was disclosed by a user identified as Mr. Setsuna Digitalwhich, it is worth noting, still does not have a very extensive history as leaker. According to him, the company intends to present the new color during the spring of the northern hemisphere (our autumn).

In March last year, it is worth remembering, Apple launched new colors for both the iPhones 13 and 13 mini (green) and the iPhones 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max (alpine green). In 2021, the company launched a purple version of the iPhones 12 and 12 mini to boost sales of the two devices that, at that time, had also reached half of their life cycle.

It is important to note that the rumor mentions only the “input” smartphones of the iPhone 14 line, leaving the Pro models, which have a golden version, out. The last yellow iPhones released by Apple were the iPhone XR (from 2018) and the iPhone 11 (from 2019).

According to MacRumorsApple would be preparing a briefing for a product that will supposedly be released next week. considering the timing this rumor, it is very likely that this product is, in fact, a new color of the phone.
