Presented at the final Game Awards ceremony on December 10, Rumbleverse, an all-new kind of brawl-centric Battle Royale from Epic Games, was set to debut on February 15 on PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X| S. However, the developers have just announced on their official website that the game is postponed to an undetermined date.
The wet hen?
Indeed, through a blog post, the Iron Galaxy crews describe their excitement over the release of their all-new wacky 40-player Battle Royale title. While early access was to take place from February 8 to 14 for some lucky people and the launch of season 1 of the game was to take place from February 15, the teams gathered a lot of information during the last technical test in December. and decided to take their time to polish their game.
The developers state this: “Seeing Grapital City full of Rumblers taught us a lot. We love the game we’re making and we’re glad you love it too, but we still have other plans to perfect this experience. Rumbleverse will not be just a game; it will be a community we want to support for years to come. We will take the time necessary to achieve this feat”.
Like no deadline is clearly announced by Epic Games Publishing, players who ordered a early access pack will be refunded on the corresponding platforms before a new pack is offered when the game is released which tends to be updated for many years.
To compensate for this delay, which seems significant, Rumbleverse will be available in network test this Saturday, February 12 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., only on PC via the Epic Games Store. To attempt to gain access, simply add the game in your wishlist sur l’Epic Games Store.
