A real Berliner in the jersey of Real Madrid, so now there is too. Antonio Rüdiger originally comes from Neukölln, but he has already held positions at many a club: youth football at Borussia Dortmund and in Stuttgart, Bundesliga debut in 2012 at VfB, then a steady rise to the national team. After stints at AS Roma and most recently at Chelsea (where he won the Champions League), he is now one of Germany’s most reliable defenders. It is logical that Real noticed him and brought him in this summer. He should now prevent goals in Carlo Ancelotti’s defensive network – also once morest a certain Robert Lewandowski (left), whom he already met in the preparation once morest Barcelona.
