The first racket of Russia Andrey Rublev might not reach the semifinals of the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, the Australian Open, which takes place in Melbourne.

In the quarterfinals, Rublev, ranked sixth in the world ranking, met with nine-time tournament winner Serb Novak Djokovic and lost with a score of 1:6, 2:6, 4:6.

Tennis players spent two hours on the court.

Djokovic’s next opponent will be American Tommy Paul.

Rublev is 25 years old and has never reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open. The Russian lost to Djokovic the third face-to-face meeting out of four.
