RTVE has joined as a ‘media partner’ to ‘Give & Gain 2024’, the project led by Forética to promote and make visible the volunteering carried out by workers from companies in different sectors. With its incorporation, RTVE, which has had a volunteer platform since 2013, will contribute to “enhancing the impact and visibility of this type of altruistic actions,” as indicated.
In its 12 years of experience so far, ‘Give & Gain’ – under the format of ‘Week of Volunteering and Solidarity Action by companies’ – has benefited more than 300,000 people with the action of more than 42,000 volunteers of 605 companies in regarding 800 organizations.
In this “renewed edition”, the project has a “more strategic and transformative” approach, lasting annually which, according to RTVE, aims to give a “more continuous presence to the importance of promoting corporate volunteering and solidarity action.” by the companies.
In this way, the initiative will focus on “favoring high-impact alliances” between companies and the third sector, to in turn enhance the work of NGOs. To this end, “different milestones will take place during 2024” focused on promoting the visibility and positioning of solidarity action and volunteering from companies, as well as workshops and events, as noted by the new ‘media parter’.
‘Give & Gain’ has the participation of promoting companies, such as Banco Santander, Endesa and Informa D&B and eleven NGO partners of Forética: Action once morest Hunger, SOS Children’s Villages, Reforesta Association, Ayuda en Acción, Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR), Fundación Juan XXIII, Fundación Tomillo, Plan Internacional, Trabajo en Positivo, SEO/BirdLife and World Vision International. Together with RTVE, Soziable also collaborates in the initiative as a media partner.
