The year 2018 saw a new production company enter the audiovisual market: LACOproductora of Miguel Contreras which, today, has become one of the great bets of Grupo Prisa, majority partner of the company since 2022. Since its inception, the company has closed contracts with RTVE.

Specifically, from 2018 to 2021, before Hurry was its majority partner, it closed contracts for 12 million euros: 2.4 million in 2020 and 9.7 in 2021. However, the budget that RTVE dedicates to LACOproductora Since Prisa joined the company as a majority partner, it has grown exponentially.

The magazine that Jesús Cintora presented and that became a real headache for RTVE for the countless internal complaints when leaving an informative program in the hands of an external production company.

New contract

However, the last agreement signed between RTVE y LACOproductora has not yet seen the light. Scoop is the name of the program prepared by the Corporation and which will be dedicated to Spanish journalists. A total of 13 programs, that will have the testimonies of Pepa Bueno, Alfredo Relaño, Manuel Jabois -the three linked to the Prisa group- or Federico Jiménez Losantos.
