Scheduled for May 12 on Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom reveals part of its plot in an “ultimate” trailer.
One month before the release on Switch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomthe long-awaited sequel to The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild (2017), the new adventures of Link are revealed in a new video of almost four minutes released this Thursday by Nintendo. This highlights what should be a new playground, namely the celestial islands, which the hero crosses in particular by cutting through the air.
We are once again witnessing the separation of Link and Princess Zelda, in what looks like a landslide, probably at the time of the fall of the kingdom of Hyrule into darkness. Our hooded hero’s nemesis Ganondorf seems to be back, while another should make an appearance.
Link’s various means of transport leave little doubt that players will be treated to a particularly aerial episode, although, of course, the hero will also continue to move around on horseback.
The video ends with a sentence that Link is used to hearing with each new episode: “You are our last hope.”
