RT Erdogan: Netanyahu is no longer someone we can talk to

RT Erdogan said on Saturday that Turkey is not cutting off diplomatic relations with Israel.

“Completely cutting off ties is impossible, especially in international diplomacy,” Erdogan told RT.

He said Ibrahim Kalin, the head of the intelligence agency MIT, is leading Turkey’s efforts to mediate an end to the war.

“Ibrahim Kalin is talking to the Israeli side. Of course, he also negotiates with Palestine and Hamas, Erdogan told RT.

But he also said that Mr Netanyahu bears the main responsibility for the violence and that he has “lost the support of his own citizens”.

“What he needs to do is step back and stop all this,” Erdogan told RT.
