Paying a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 per lorry will ensure that you can avoid even the inspection of the Deputy Transport Commissioner’s squad. Despite the complaint with the evidence, top officials did not take action.

The audio recording of a conversation between the owner of a tipper lorry from Thamarassery and a motor vehicle inspector at the Enforcement Division in Chevayur was released. The MVAA also assures that if the said agreement is reached, it will be exempted from the scrutiny of the squad of the Deputy Transport Commissioner of the Northern Region.

The complaint that the officer asked for a bribe came before the Deputy Transport Commissioner a week ago. The RTO was directed to warn such persons and terminated the inquiry into the complaint.
