Royal pardon.. The release of the convicted Egyptian engineer Ali Abu Al-Qasim

Raafat Abdullah, assistant to the Egyptian Consulate in Tabuk, announced that the Egyptian engineer Ali Abu Al-Qasim, who was sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia, has been released.

Abdullah told Masrawy that Abu al-Qasim was released with a royal pardon from King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and he was accompanied by the Egyptian Ambassador Hisham Fathi and Consul Abdul Rahman Safwat, to expedite the completion of the procedures.

The assistant of the Egyptian Consulate in Tabuk added that he was released from Tabuk prison, at dawn today at 2 am, stressing that all travel procedures were completed and a flight was booked at 8:30, which arrives in Cairo at 10:30.

For his part, Engineer Ali Abu Al-Qasim thanked all the staff of the Egyptian Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the Consulate for standing by them throughout his 6 years of imprisonment.
