Leipzig – With Rouven Schröder, the German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has got its ideal solution for the position of sports director. As the Saxons announced on Tuesday, the 47-year-old signed a long-term contract with the DFB Cup winners. Schröder had previously terminated his contract with Schalke 04, which had been inactive since October, and RB paid a transfer fee. Both sides had agreed not to disclose details. Schröder will take up his post in Leipzig on April 1st.
