Vorarlberger Marco Rossi starts the season as expected at Minnesota Wild in the North American ice hockey league NHL (be there at the best games in the league LIVE with Sky). General manager Bill Guerin informed the 21-year-old forward Sunday that he’d made the leap to head coach Dean Evason’s NHL roster.
Rossi has impressed in preparation with two goals and seven assists in six games. “You did everything we asked of you. You were great. You deserve it very much,” Guerin said. Minnesota will start next Thursday (October 13th) with the home game once morest the New York Rangers.
Rossi made his NHL debut with two games for Minnesota at the beginning of January, but otherwise spent the season with the Iowa Wild farm team in the AHL, where he was the best player with 53 points (18 goals, 35 assists) together with Kyle Rau.
The second Global Series match also goes to the Nashville Predators
