Through a more than questionable project, the legislator Rosselli Amuruz raises change the heads of electoral bodies in order to have “question-free” elections. At this point, it should be noted that both international entities and the National Prosecutor’s Office itself ruled out the possibility of alleged fraud in the 2021 general elections.

“The President of the National Elections Jury (JNE) and the head of the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) they conclude their term in April 2023. The terms established in articles 180 and 182 respectively of the Political Constitution of the State do not apply to them, by exception,” says the Amuruz project.
